Supporting Mental Health with Compassion, Clarity, and Connection
I'm Dr. Kate Vaillancourt, a licensed clinical psychologist and certified perinatal mental health specialist based on the New Hampshire Seacoast. I offer individual psychotherapy for individuals navigating a wide range of life experiences — from later adolescence through midlife and beyond — with a special focus on the perinatal journey. Whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, grieving a loss, or coping with a difficult birth experience, you don’t have to do this alone. My work is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and evidence-based care — creating space for you to feel seen, supported, and understood.
BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE
Reaching out for support is a brave and powerful first step. If you're looking for thoughtful, specialized care for women’s mental health in the Seacoast area — or virtually anywhere in New Hampshire — I invite you to connect.
I received my Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England in 2012 after completing a predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at the Carson Center for Adults and Families in Westfield, MA, where I received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and recovery from substance use and addictions.
My clinical training experience has also included an externship with Harvard Medical School at the Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, inpatient crisis counseling and intervention at NH Hospital, and psychological and neuropsychological testing and evaluation with children, adolescents, and adults at The Counseling Center of Nashua.
